He clutched at his chest, but it wasn't going to stop. The blood continued to pour from the wound. Slumping against a filthy alley wall, water seeped through his pants. The unpleasant coolness didn't relieve the hot pain from the wound he clutched. His face tightened in agony as his moments trickled away; he knew his time was fleeting. His eyes glowed brightly in the stormy night, anger, hatred, and desperation permeating from their depths. Strands of hair pressed into his face as he craned skyward for the last time. Crying out, he expelled the last of his life.

Cars buzzed past, exceeding the posted speed limit without a care for the nearby police station.
Yamato's mind couldn't help but continue thinking about the dream he'd been having for some time now. Since his eighteenth birthday on October 4th, he'd been having a nightmare at least once a week regarding his father's death. It was always the same dream...
"Yamato!"
Being jolted back to reality, Yamato noticed Kasumi had moved halfway across the street, through a crossing way. After checking both ways Yamato caught up with her. "Thanks Kasumi, I was kind of lost in my own world."
Kasumi smiled and patted Yamato on the back as they walked. "

"Your mom's home ask her." Kasumi ordered, letting go of his head. He had no plan to fight her order, and actually was going to confront his mom with his new information as soon as she walked in, but Kasumi had beaten him to the punch. The two heard the door leading to the garage open and shut abruptly. Kasumi sprang for the stairs, Yamato vaulted over the arm of the couch and trailed Kasumi up the stairs until they both reached the top. She latched onto the knob and turned it as Yamato bumped into her, forcing them both through the door.
"Hey, you two." Yamato's mom greeted. The two composed themselves and closed the basement door, an

His covers flew up, he lunged for the radio on the floor in the far corner of his room. His knees impacted the carpet as his thumb hit the power button. The lit up rectangle on the radio faded and silence once more was permitted in his room. Yamato slouched while

The bell finally rang for the period to change and the four parted ways, not destined to meet up with each other until lunch. For Yamato, psychology class in hour three was a bore. Normally he liked listening about the human psyche and how it's affected by the slightest influence. Today though he had bigger things than a bad hair day or an asshole boss bothering his psyche. Last hour had unsettled him. The way he'd looked at Jimmy...thought about him. The way he'd looked at his neck and traced over his fangs with his tongue with such intent, it unnerved and unsettled him! He didn't think about Jimmy like that and yet he felt the urge. No

Kasumi shook her head, her smile creeping along the sides of her face until it grew to joker length. With a skip to start her steps, she started off to her class. She wasn't quite sure how Yamato would fare without her, he was shaken up by his instability to control his half-breed self. He'd been able to stay in control, until he was put into a confrontation. 'So stay out of confrontations!' She thought, the thought was easier said than done. She sighed heavily, realizing a confrontation was coming for her. Ryan was quickly intersecting her path and there was nothing Kasumi could do.
"Kasumi, we need to talk." Ryan's eyes shone concern, alm
